The author of The American English Express is Jon Saul, President and founder of English 4 All, Inc.
Mr. Saul has 25 years of college classroom experience teaching reading, writing and oral communications skills to college and high school drop outs, and recent immigrants to the United States. He has taught at LaGuardia Community College of the City University of New York (NY), Bucks County Community College (PA), Montgomery County Community College (PA), DeVry University (PA) and DPT Business School (PA).
Mr. Saul has extensive experience in higher education administration & management. The American Cultural Express methodology, embodied in The American English Express, represents the fruit of this labor. The techniques, examples, explanations and subject matter have proven to be successful in college remedial English classrooms.
Mr. Saul's career as an educator provided the motivation for the development of The American English Express pedagogy. Prior to pursuing this entrepreneurial initiative, Mr. Saul was an educational consultant in New York City, providing clients with technical assistance. For two years, Mr. Saul assisted the Board of Education of the City of New York as an information technology project manager, bringing the internet into the classroom.
Mr. Saul has served students in Institutions of Higher Learning, including counseling, mentoring and advising students, administering programs, authoring grants, coodinating events, and teaching in the classroom. He earned his B.A. in History, with minors in Education and Philosophy, from The City College of New York in 1971. He earned his M. Phil. from The City University of New York in 1992.
